With all the reverence of your soul invoke God’s presence, for He is the essence of everything. Ignorant or wise, we are His children. Pray to Him to make you realize that you are immortal. Follow the highway of meditative communion that leads to Him, live each day in reverent accord with God’s laws, and He who guides the destiny of the world — including your own destiny — will plan your tomorrow for you according to your acts of today. Work for the establishment of one universal law, one freedom, one brotherhood, and communion with the one God. Make each day a step upward on the ladder of your realization of His wisdom and joy.
Do not take life’s experiences too seriously. Above all, do not let them hurt you, for in reality they are nothing but dream experiences. Play your part in life, but never forget it is only a role. If circumstances are bad and you have to bear them, do not make them a part of yourself. What you lose in the world will not be a loss to your soul. Trust in God and destroy fear, which paralyzes all efforts to succeed and attracts the very thing you fear. All Nature will commune with you when you are in tune with God. Realization of this truth will make you master of your destiny.
Knowing that you are a child of God, make up your mind to be calm no matter what happens. If your mind is full identified with your activities, you cannot be conscious of the Lord, but f you are calm and receptive to Him within while being active without, you are rightly active. Each time a swarm of worries invades your mind, refuse to be affected; wait calmly while seeking the remedy. Spray the worries with the powerful chemical of your peace. You cannot buy peace; you must know how to manufacture it within., in the stillness of your dail practices in meditation. When you think that you have reache the utmost depth of silence and calmness, go deeper still. In the silence you will receive from God the answers to your life’s problems.
Everyone is Human
It’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are. We are all human and prone to make mistakes. Holding people to unreasonable standards will only create more unnecessary conflicts in your world and negativity within you.
One reason Gandhi as so successful with his method of non-violence was because he and his followers were so persistent. They just didn’t give up. One of the reasons people don’t get what they want is simply because they give up too soon. Success or victory will seldom come as quickly as you would have liked it to.
See the good in people and help them
When you see the good in people it becomes easier to motivate yourself to be of service to them. And the people you help may feel more inclined to help other people. And so you, together, create an upward spiral of positive change that grows and becomes stronger.
Be authentic, be your true self
People seem to really like authentic communication. And there is much inner enjoyment to be found when your thoughts, words, and actions are aligned. You feel powerful and good about yourself. Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your won belief in what you can do. And other people’s belief in you too.
Continue to grow and evolve
You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits, and re-evaluate. As Gandhi says, drive yourself into a false position. A place where you try to uphold or cling to your old views to appear consistent while you realize within that something is wrong. To choose to grow and evolve is a happier and more useful path to take.
The material and the spiritual are but two parts of one universe and one truth. By over stressing one part or the other, man fails to achieve the balance necessary for harmonious development.
Life is expressed in a threefold way: through thoughts, desires, and actions. Rightly guide all three forms of expression and they will lead you to a higher state of consciousness. In your activities you are the creator, the preserver, the transformer; your will is the director. Practice the art of living in this world without losing our inner piece of mind. Follow the path of balance to reach the inner wondrous garden of self-realization.
